My Client a major player in the M&E sector are looking for an additional SHEQ Advisor to join their expanding team. The successful candidate should have an electrical back ground ideally with an electrical qualification and be Grad IOSH or near to completion level.
The role will include offering the correct expert advice to staff and subcontractors alike, including carrying out site visits and audits as per the action plans and making sure recommendations for safe working are implemented and adhered to. The successful candidate must be able to provide a stable employment history, having gained experience with a similar organisation and be able to back this up with good references.
The role will be site based across London and the South East of England.
Below is a brief but not definitive outline of the role:
Working alongside the existing SHEQ Advisors.
Responsible for between 2 and 5 projects
Week inspection to all responsible sites.
We use the Yellowjacket Software system across our business for inspection, audits, reports, incident investigation, observations etc.
Reviewing RAMS for project teams.
Writing Specific Tool Box Talks and presenting.
Working with our project teams to provide advice and support for any related issues arising on sites.
Organising appropriate training course where required.
Working with our Supply Chain to improve their H&S where required.
Assistance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards including Auditing.
Further training on Environmental and Quality sectors will be provided where necessary.
Salary would be £45-50k per annum depending on experience.
The package includes;
25 Days Holiday per annum
Zone 1-4 travelcard expense each week. Any additional costs to sites outside zone 4 will be fully reimbursed.
